General updates

Ty is doing great. He is starting to walk on his bad leg. It is healing.
The boarding horses will be here this weekend. 
AJ and the boys are co-existing in the same turnout. They needed to get differences settled. AJ busted down a panel as in crushed it and we'll they were all in together when Wes got home from work.  There is even a mare in with them. She is  already in foal and this will teach them to get along even if a mare is around. They are doing well.

And if the one that was so concerned about my finances is reading this, rest assured it's all great and getting even better very soon. You need not worry anymore.

Steele Update

I got updated pictures from Steeles mom. 

Steele has a beautiful girlfriend that he likes to communicate with. She was moved and he knew it and had a fit so they put another horse next to him until she came back. 

Oh did I mention the Steele has an appt with the vet Thursday,  has had his hooves done and next week is getting a full body massage. No I am not kidding. He really is. 

The boy looks good in plaid. 

The look on his face from then to now is so different.  He is happy and not scared. He has had hands on daily since he arrived from the sale barn.  

What a beautiful place Steele has now and forever.

Rex

This is Rex our Belgian Malinois. 

Boy are they a misunderstood breed. Everything written about them is that they are not family dogs. Got news for you....they most certainly are. 

They are outstanding dogs. 

Rex is huge but oh so sweet. This big bad dog loves the other animals. 

I won't say he isn't protective. We are his family. He is a malinois and I wouldn't push him.

Steele Says Goodbye

Yesterday  (Sunday) Steele boarded his transport to head home. His transporter Vicki was thrilled to be a part of getting him to his new forever home. He loaded right up for me. 

Steele arrived at his new home this afternoon.  The trip went smooth and he rode like a champ. Vicki had no issues with Steele. 

Sara was thrilled to finally get Steele home. She is absolutely amazed that he is so calm and trusting. Sara wants to join forces, a partnership to get rescue horses and I start them then she takes them, trains them and puts them in the program.

Welcome

Welcoming Rex home today. He is a Belgian Malinois.  He was one of the dogs that worked the area around the world Trade Center fell when they were rebuilding the surrounding buildings.
He was a tobacco dog but I'd still a protection dog as well.
One of the workers was smoking and flicked a cigerette and caught some of the construction on fire so they hired a specially trained dog to detect tobacco on the workers when they were on the work site. He earned his former owners 2.8 million dollars working and when the man died the woman didn't want Rex. Shame on her for not caring for the dog that made her wealthy.
He will live the rest of his life out being fostered by our family.

Out of hospital

Yay I'm home from the hospital.  Lots of heart tests but don't have to have another surgery.  Just meds again.

To whom it may concern..

It has come to my attention that there is some question regarding my financial ability to own and care for horses. Well let me set you straight and then I expect to hear no more of my business out of your mouth that you seem to get wrong anyway.
I have a great job now that DOES , yes thats what I said, it DOES ALLOW ME TO AFFORD WHATEVER I WANT. So the amount of horses I have is actually none of your business. And by the way, I didn't let out your secret and had you given me the chance you would have realized that. 
Now, with that said, I would greatly appreciate it if you would leave me alone, stay out of my business and do not assume you know my financial status, because you do not. Oh and no I'm not going to rip anyone off and how you can say that I do not know. I never ripped you off and I've already paid well over $2000 to the person I owe money to. Now you should remember when I was paying you as well as another for horses purchased. 
So do not presume to think I am a thief. Speaking of which, I hear you stole someone's horse that was there to be trained. I've never lost anyone's horse or any of mine.

I just paid an $853 vet bill for the dog so guess what?  You have no clue!

Amanda got married last Saturday February 6, 2016. We flew to Vegas and it was a blast but we are exhausted. I will post pics when I'm not so damn tired.

Bad couple days

Last night (Feb 4 , 2016 ) Ty was purposely hit by someone in a small extended cab pickup.  I will find out who they are and life as they know it now will turn into HELL.
Ty is at the vet. He made it through the night.
No broken bones but a lot od damage to his lungs. One is collapsed.  The vet said his color is much better. 
He will be at the vet until Monday.
Maggie keeps looking for him.
