For The Love Of Horses

As I look out at the horses and go see the baby and momma in the barn I'm reminded of how much I love each and every one of them.
Let me talk about my girl Willow. I love that mare so much. She just had the most beautiful foal. She is an outstanding mother and she is just a pure joy. NO ONE is getting this mare. I've posted many pics of the foal. I hope everyone has enjoyed them. They sure mean a lot to me.
I look out and think about all their different stories. Such wonderful beings. Everyone here lives with no fear of hunger, neglect or abuse. They have come so far.

Ice (throwback monday)

Please help us welcome Ice. 

She was born between 8 and 8:30 this morning January 14, 2017.

Funny thing is I was out there at 6 a.m. and nothing. 

Below is one of my very favorite pictures.

Very good mom. Very protective.

I finally had to hang sometime and close off the opening.  The other horses wanted to meet Ice, momma said no, pinned her ears and lunged at them. I closed off the barn because momma was upset.

Wow, another year has started.

I'm sad that Allie didn't make it with us. She is in a better place.

Everyone is doing great. All horses are fat and healthy, the last rescue I did has made great improvement and he doesn't look the same.

I got all my hair cut off about 2 weeks ago. I like it for now.

Gotta diagnosed with hyperthyroidism about a month ago. Will see the endocrinologist in March.

Have 21 horses now and it's fixing to be 22 horses. No more stallions.  Done breeding and just want to enjoy the horses. They are so fun to watch. Such distinct personalities they have.

I hope I'm less sick this year than I was last year. It's been 1 year since I quit smoking.  I never thought I'd quit now I can't even imagine smoking. Yuck.

No foal yet, but should be soon. Have no clue when she got bred. Pisses me off. If I find out my ex boarder had anything to do with it I'll ring her fatass neck.
