I've actually done what I set out to do, which was reduce numbers.
Kai left today along with the mini Oakley. Its bittersweet. As much as I know I have to do this, it still isn't easy. Its just time. I have friends that are being very supportive and have made it much easier for me to do this. The choices are hard.
Bella went to a veterinarian to be in a breeding program, kai will become a nice trail horse, Tootsie is going back to Jennifer and Jess is all excited and Jennifer is excited about having a baby out of her.
I'm tired of people dicking me around about the horses I have for sale. Technically I have 4 more to sell. Lacey, Rebel and Whisper and Ice. Lacey will probably stay here, she's 15 years old in a few days. Rebel will probably end up staying too. I'm about ready to take the listing down for Whisper, everyone wants something for nothing. Ice I will sell. I'd like to sell 2 more minis but that's not looking like it will happen, and honestly the minis are my cheapest to keep.
This is the first time I've been below 20 horses in years. Mixed emotions. I was going to sell Pistol but I just can't. He twists his head playfully when he sees me, I've raised him since he was 3 months old and I can't do it. I hope we can get to our riding and bond. I hope Peaches and I can do the same this summer.

Arctic Blast
Well, I went out and put my old mare, the 2 foals and 6 miniature horses in the barn, then opened the gate from the turnout to the big pasture and got the 7 pasture horses in the turnout with the shelter. Now everyone has stopped shaking and the wind is blocked and they are happily munching on hay.
The sun is out so that will help the dark horses. They absorb the sun really well. Now if the 39 mile an hour gusts would stop.
Its 16 degrees with a real feel of zero. Tonight temps and windchill will be far below zero. Its a horrible winter.
I talked to my daughter this morning who lives where its its rarely cold and she said it was about 22 degrees. Its never that cold there. Winter has unleashed its fury everywhere it appears.

If not fixed
If this blog issue can't be fixed I'll let my followers where I move to so you may continue to follow.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Well Problem
Seems the problem persists with me not being able to get a clear answer as to why but I'm still unable to get pictures to publish. So unless I can get someone to give me an answer as to why then I guess I'll have to find another blog to start which I hate. We will see what happens.
