ME Day

I was off work today and spent the day with the horses. I moved Pistol to the big pasture and Faith. They are doing good, I hope that continues while I'm gone tomorrow. 
Couldn't grain Belle this evening,  Trick finally succeeded in taking her away from me to run the herd back to the back of the pasture away from Pistol and Faith. Pistol won't challenge Trick but he goes after River every time. So I'm just going to keep River up close to the house in small pasture. He is a love bug and doesn't care to venture out. This evening Willow and Ice are showing interest in going out. Pera doesn't want to either so she will stay up with River. Getting the horses switched around. Newt has an appointment for May 24th to be gelded. I put Whisper and Newt in another area with River. He likes babies. Had to get newt out of the miniature horse pen because he was starting to pick on them. He and Whisper had a great day. So did I. I will get everyone brushed this weekend.  Most are rolling on the ground getting most of it off.
It was a fun day. The babies and River now have a shelter. Fixed gate, checked and fixed electric fence and checked fence. I was busy. Now tired and very sore. Got my shower early because Belle squirted at Trick and it all landed on me. That was nasty and stinky.
She took off with Trick still with her halter on, I'll get it later when he lets them stop hiding. Brats. But I love them so much.

Grooming

Well today is my birthday so I will celebrate tomorrow spending time with my horses. Good brushing and some training. I hope its half way beautiful tomorrow. I'm in need of major horse time.
I think spring is finally here and its lovely. The rain needs to stop for a couple weeks so things can get dryer and I can really get to working on horses. I'm super motivated!!
