Well another year in the books. So much has happened.
Tomorrow is Christmas Day and marks 1 year that I have had Dakota. Jodi brought him to me Christmas day 2018. He was such a scared unsure little boy. He became very attached and in a hurry. He is huge now and is very protective of his family collective. Currently he is passed out in the floor after a busy day playing in the yard. Such a good dog.
The earth contact house was purchased by some nice people who have done a lot with the place and its looking a lot better. They have worked hard on it.
The people in the yellow house down from us both died. He passed March of 2017 and she passed March of 2018. I've heard from others that there is talk that she might have done it on purpose. She had run through all her money is what I heard from people she worked with. Only bought brand name and expensive stuff. Apparently she died and no one knew for several days. The dogs were left behind but I thought someone was taking care of them. Turns out that a rescue came and trapped them and took them to a rescue. The house is still empty.
Jennifer and Jamie moved. I had 3 of the ponies for a while and they have them back now. We still have the great dane, Gulliver. He is growing fast but is a big sweetheart.
I lost Teaka this year to that rat terrier I had adopted. NEVER AGAIN. It killed her when I was gone to get hay one day.
Navi, the min pin, is 16 or 17 now. She is starting to go down hill fast. I thinks its about her time.
Our neighbors sold their house and moved out of state recently but not before a certain person decided to LIE and make shit up by telling him GOD knows what, to the point that, well we were no longer friends with the neighbors. Needless to say I am definently not friends with the mouth of the midwest anymore after the shit she created. I knew better than to trust her but did it anyway. I won't make that same mistake again. I am just glad I got my boy Kai back before shit hit the fan. Which leads to the next entry of getting 2 rescues from said person that are old and one has an ongoing issue that SOMEONE neglected to inform me about. Yet another lie. I knew something was wrong when I picked them up. The other one is fine. This will be their final stop and they will live here until its their time.
I did trade Twister for Rascal. Rascal got pretty sick so I made him a stall down in the laundry room and brought him in the house. He is better now and is like a dog. He is my buddy. Jennifer always loved Twister so I sent him with her.
Newt got gelded this last summer and I ended up getting his mom, Smartie, and his brother Spartan. Newt and Spartan are polar opposites considering they are full brothers. Spartan will need to be gelded asap. Phoenix and Diva will hopefully be home here before the beginning of the year. Phoenix will be gelded the same time as Spartan.
Royal came back this summer too. I am super glad she is home. When I brought Smartie home from Jennifers she knew exactly who it was and went over the fence and she now lives in the smaller pasture with Smartie.
Pistol finally graduated to the big pasture. I honestly wish I could get everyone living together in one group.
January of this year I lost my job at the city of crackheads which was no great loss. They are more corrupt than MODOT if you can believe that.
Speaking of MoDot, I have been fighting them most of the year regarding Bill and him going on disability. He got super sick last year, as a matter of fact he went into the hospital a year ago today. Wes and I have been taking care of his needs since then. I take care of all of his business now regarding bills and meds and appointments and his benefits. I've learned a lot....most of which is I need to the media about the goings on with MoDot. I have tried the letters, emails, phone calls, most if not all have been ignored. So I guess I will contact the PITCH. It's MoDot's favorite paper......not.
I sold Whisper and her mom Bella. Whisper is with my friend Chelsea and Bella went to a breeding program and is owned by a veterinarian.

It was in the 60's today. I took a bunch of pictures of the horses today. Just enjoyed being around them today, telling them all Merry Christmas. I was going to do a Christmas day ride today but opted not to. Just kinda chilled out instead.
We played with Gulliver and Dakota and Ezra in the front yard. Dakota has been here 1 year today. I found pictures of him Christmas day a year ago when he got here. He was so scared and unsure. Now he is protective and very sure of himself. The changes in him over the last year and the last few months have been amazing. He is the most amazing dog I've ever had.
My beautiful daughter has excelled in her career over the last year.
My granddaughter, who is stunning, is 18 years old today. My heart is broken, she's grown up way to fast. Where did the time go?
Boy do I feel old.
My son actually texted me today. I about fell out of my chair. I'm sure it was out of obligation. We chatted a bit, mostly about the weather, go figure, but I was surprised he reached out to me. Didn't expect it at all.
Wish I had the rest of the week off but I don't.
I hope 2020 brings great things for everyone.
Personally I'd like a newer pickup. Lol. Guessing that won't happen but hey who knows.
I'm sure we will pay dearly in January and February for this awesome weather we have this week. Not looking forward to that. Spring is around the corner....lol. positive thinking.
Well Merry Christmas everyone. Hell does anyone even read my blog? Lol.
