Fun filled Sunday 5/20/18

So Mischief had her kittens today while I wasnt home. Wes was home so he played a great assistant.  She had 3 then I got home and she had a 4th. She started giving birth in the diet dp box.

Wes got her a real box. She is a happy momma. She is a really good momma too.

Samson

Welcome Samson to the farm. He is still in the weight gaining process but was rescued from a kill lot and brought up to this weight prior to me getting him. We will continue with the weight gain. He is a standardbred gelding that is tattooed and he can and does pace. Apparently was a pacer at one time. Estimated age is 15ish. He was then an amish buggy horse and when he got older was sent to the kill lot. He has a new career as a trail horse now and has joined in here with no problem.  He has been welcomed warmly by the other horses and is enjoying being out grazing with River, Molly, Willow, Ice and Pera.

Ice sure is growing into a beautiful mare. Hard to believe she has grown so much.

Welcome Bellas Daughter

Last night May 11, 2018 I went to check on Bella and found she was in labor. Early labor but enough that I stayed.
Long story short, Wes and I had to intervene and help her.
Both mare and filly are doing great. Here are some pictures.

Rex

With broken heart I report that our Malinois Rex crossed the rainbow bridge and is now running happy, healthy and playing ball. He will be missed. RIP big guy. You had an amazing last year and a half. We love you.
