Huge Paws

Check out his paws. I couldn't be more happy with this puppy. He's smart, loveable and my baby. 

He helps with my anxiety and I'd love to find a job where he could be with me at work. However, I dont think that will ever happen. 

I don't know what to do anymore. 

The anxiery has increased exponentially. I think its the thyroid disease. 

I guess I need to have a pow wow with my doctor. 

He does help me be calmer along with the medication.  My dr is great and seems to understand.  Right now I'm a bit unraveled and not real sure what my options are.  But this big guy helps.

Dog stairs

Dakota at 6 weeks old figured out the doggy stairs to get on the bed last night. Went to sleep at the foot of the bed.

What mom?

Dakota Growing

This is the absolute best dog ever. He is a lot of work but I love this pup so much. 

He is always by my side and if I go out of sight he whines or goes to Wes as if to say "Where did mom go?"

He doesn't ever get far from me. He is a very happy puppy.

He makes me smile a lot and makes me laugh. 

He is a terror around the house, still naps a lot but has grown so much in two weeks. 

His expressions are priceless and its rare that I get a clear pic of him because he is always on the he move. His best friend is Ezra seen laying in the floor with him. Thry play together all the time. 

Here he is playing with his stuffed besr. Toys are very important for him because he loves to chew and it keeps him from getting bored. A bored husky shepherd mix is a destructive husky shepherd mix. He is so full of energy. He tries to steal my towel when I get out of the shower and am trying to dry off. He has learned "no" and is very responsive to it. 

He loves to go out in the yard, he's doing real well with that. 

Who wouldn't love that face and expression?

Caught the beginning of his big ole yawn. 

He is always so glad to play and be sociable. I hate leaving him to go to work. He has done wonders for my spirits. Not that I was down but he's helped the stress factor. He's my sweet loveable Dakota Bear aka Dakota Kai. 

He is just fixing to be 6 weeks old and he is as big as a 3 month old. The boy is gonna be huge. 

I hope everyone will enjoy watching him grow as much as I enjoy sharing. 

Once Again Dakota

Upset

Dakota was upset today that I was gone all day. He found a corner to hide in but when he realized I was home he doesn't leave my side. He's such a good dog.
Almost time for his vet visit. Another week or 2, then we will decide when he will be neutered.  That is a must.

New Year Dakota

I'm very blessed to have the fur babies that I do. I'm especially blessed to have a partner who doesn't get angry and somehow he understands why I have the issue with them, or maybe he doesn't,  but more importantly loves me enough to put up with it and rarely deny me the pleasure of having them.
I have a love for all animals and am blessed to be able to have some very special ones, but everyone is special in their own right. I honestly can't imagine life without the family I have, the partner I have, the patience he shows me and the love of my kids, Amanda, Anjeleena and Amanda's boyfriend Matt whom I've know since he was a kid. I am blessed to have friends that sre more family than they are friends.  So many do not understand why I am with my animals but from what I've read its some sort of void I fill to take the place of what was missing growing up. I don't know about all that but ok.
