I did let Magic out to the pasture today 5/29/2026. She's pretty happy about that.

May 27, 2026

A day at the lake today. It was a beautiful day. We took pictures of the mirror image of the clouds on the lake. It was actually that calm. I caught one fish. Fishing was horrible. Ruko, who you see in the last picture, looking so sweet, cute and innocent, isn't.  He managed to get away from me today and did as a husky does and ran and ran and ran. Wes caught him when he came back to where we were fishing and jumped in the lake for a swim. Wes grabbed his leash as he came out of the lake. I was all over hells half acre still looking for him. I thought I faintly heard my name and went back to see that Wes had gotten him. I wasn't mad at Ruko. He did what comes natural. I wouldn't have left the lake without him. The picture is before his antics. After he was done with all the running he crashed out in the tall grass and slept so hard that when someone stopped to talk to us he didn't even wake up. He was exhausted. He has a microchip plus a tag but I still wouldn't have left.

Wes had a good fishing day. I just caught a tan, that's all.

Rukos Day 9 Adventure

Ruko got to go on his first boat ride today. We took the boat out fishing and of course Ruko goes too. He went swimming again, enjoyed sleeping to the rocking of the boat and then decided he belonged on the bough of the boat. I took his harness off so he'd be more comfortable. He did absolutely wonderful as usual. He is a very smart Shepsky. 

Those piercing blue eyes still just kill me. 

Ruko Day 8

Mother's Day was quiet and relaxing. Ruko continues to amaze me on a daily basis. He knows so much. 

Monday he went to work with me and was perfect. 

Tuesday he had to stay home and Wes said he searched the house for me but he did ok and played in the yard until I got home after my dr appointment.  They drew blood and turns out all of my hormonesare very low. He was excited when I got home.

Wednesday he went with us to give a deposition and I never want to do that again. It was horrible but I fought back. The opposing attorney looked defeated when we were leaving. The prosecutor was very happy with me and said give me a hug. He even introduced Louie, his doodle to Ruko. Didn't mind a bit that Ruko was there. Like I said Ruko goes everywhere with us. Wednesday,  yesterday,  was Ruko's 1 week anniversary since joining our family. Happy anniversary baby boy.

Today, Thursday,  he went to work with me and I took him home after because I had to get a mri on my brain. Got ahold of the pharmacy about my hormone therapy, have to fill out paperwork and they will make my hormones especially for my needs. I detest paperwork. 

Tomorrow we go fishing!!!!! Yes Ruko is going too!
