Well we got hit by a polar vortex which means its been below zero and with windchill its been about 30 below zero. So far we've done pretty well. The dogs are pissed that I won't let them stay out, the horses have done surprisingly well. Trick was shaking so decided to blanket him but he was like oh hell no so I checked on him a little later and he wasn't shaking anymore. Now its been snowing. Wes is working till 7 tonight because of it. Got chores done and everyone is doing fine. I think temps are suppose to start rising after midnight tonight. At least I hope so. I'm ready to move SOUTH!!

Problem persists
Well since the problem persists with me being able to load pictures I guess I'll just type.
Well Dakota got disciplined this even and got very mad at me. He was getting carried away with play. He got mad. Time to start showing him who alfa dog is. I think I'll seek some advice from a friend. He's only 7 weeks old so I hope this is not the start of a bad thing. Need to do some research.
Still need to do something with this rat terrier that killed my chihuahua. I detest her being in my house and she is segregated from the others because they would be in danger.
She needs a home as an only dog. I'd plead with someone to take her but I don't know who to contact. She needs to go. I'm still just sick over the loss of my 8 year old that I had for 8 years. May never get over it.
Dakota is growing so fast it seems abnormal but I guess its the breed. I need to buy him a teething ring or something! Its like having a great dane!
He is rather funny though.

Teakachu
January 16, 2019 I lost my beloved Teaka to a rat terrier I had rescued from the dog pound and adopted. I left the house to get hay and came home to my dying Teaka. The worst thing ever. I'm completely depressed, can't stop the pain, Can't bring myself to go bury her, don't want to can't do anything. Lost my job on Monday. Lost my dog on Wednesday.
As soon as I can figure out why blogger won't post pictures of her, her daughter and her doggy husband I'll share some of beautiful Teaka.

Winter Beauty
Ok so I am desperately trying to find and enjoy this beauty but working in it takes something away from finding it.
I know it's pretty but with horses I can tell you its a pain in the ass dealing with the mud its created and has made absolutely everything 10 times harder.
Had to fix fence today because horses were just walking out of the pasture, following the fence to the yard and helping themselves to the alfalfa hay bales. I was not happy.
Had to put a chain around the tree and the round bales and basically yank them off the trailer but got it accomplished. I can't even describe the mess I made of the yard with the truck doing this.
Just walking through the snow takes its toll for sure. Now is when an atv would come in real handy and be a lot less strain on my body.
Anyway enjoy the photography. More snow on the way, pointless to get out and try to accomplish a damn thing.
