We finally decided on a barn name for the blue roan filly last night. I told Wes that she was over a month old now and it was high time that she had a name. He came up with Royal. So it is official, her barn name is Royal. (Royal Blue). I will have to put new pics up later as I can't do it from my desktop at the moment and my data is running low on my phone. Royal is doing great. She has filled out nicely and is enjoying her time in the pasture with Belle. She is growing like a weed and is so cute. She is kinda lazy I have noticed. She doesn't buck a whole lot, she runs some but mostly takes naps, snacks on mom and just follows the herd around. Trick is a very protective boy and now Kai has taken to watching over Royal as well. I did pull Belle and Royal in last weekend and the entire herd had a fit that Royal was not in there. They paced the fence. It wasn't because of Belle because I have pulled her up before the baby and they didn't care. They have all taken to Royal and all watch over her.
I did get new pics of Peaches (whom I just love), she is so sweet and so easily handled. I got new pics of the boys as well, who are always up my butt so I have to get pics at feeding time.
All the horses are doing great. The youngsters, of which I have many, are growing by leaps and bounds. The boys are already hitting 14 hands at a year old. My filly that just turned a year old in June is already over 14 hands I am sure of it.
Amanda made it back to her home in Arizona safely. She has done so well for herself out there and I am so proud of her. It was really nice to visit with her. I miss her so much. Had fun with Anje as well.
The new dog is doing great even though she is an 8 month old BRAT! She is a small dog but boy is she a handful.
The rabbits had babies. I have 3 very cute black and white babies and they are eating and drinking on their own now. Two of the three are very docile and sweet. The 3rd one is a screamer. Its a little bat shit crazy. Have to work with it more.
Well better get busy doing something else now. More later.
