Pistols training resumes in the spring as he is taking his sweet time dropping all the stud hormones/behaviors.
Royal left today to a great home however we did discover that when she doesn't want to do something she just lays down, well sorta lays sorta throws herself down then just kinda looks at you like ok move me now. Lol. Give her a minute she gets up and we do it all over again. She literally rolled down on her front and rolled to her side getting in the trailer so I picked up her back hoof set it in the trailer and shut the door. Yup she got up a minute later like well hell. Yes she's fine, just likes tantrums.
Belle hollered for her and still does every once in a while.
Angus is leaving in the morning so I need to go get him all ready. Sending him in a silver laid show halter. I know it will be appreciated.
I hope that a mother/daughter pair will be going to a neighbor as well.
My 3 horse slant gooseneck I hope will be sold tomorrow.
Kai is still up for sale.
Molly was sold months ago.
Beau was sold a year ago.
I absolutely hate all this but just not capable anymore. Taking 6 different prescriptions now, was 7 but that made me sicker so stopped that one. Back to dr Tuesday for more bloodwork and exam.
Still riding but have to take pain meds before I do it. Still will not give it up.
Raising two beautiful babies, one was born here the other is 4 days apart in age from my filly and came from a dear friend, same one who has Royal. The last 2 I'll ever raise again.
I have a few miniatures that are fun with a cart and harness.
The others that are left are our riders that we've kept for us and company/family to ride. Amand as comes to visit and we go ride. She rides Faith because its easier for her. Her hands still have issues but she rides well. It sure made her happy to ride again. We had so much fun.
Josie is still moving right along. Amanda and I calculated her age and discovered it's about 34 or 35 years old. She sure doesn't move like she's old. She hasn't been ridden in several years now, just lives out her life in comfort and plays granny to the little ones and minis. It will be a great loss when she walks the rainbow bridge.
Allie has been gone a couple years now and Tink left us this year, both buried in special places. Rex, our malinois that I discovered was stolen, was laid to rest this year. He was very old and vet recommended it. He had some major issues. His last couple years were good ones though and he lives on in our hearts. He is buried out with Lakota.
After the incident with Amanda perspective changed. It's very very very hard to let go of my horses and there are some I'll never let go of.
Having lunch tomorrow with an old friend. I'm looking forward to it. We hadn't done that in a long time. I'll bring up Pasha tomorrow afternoon and fix her tail. Its knotted up.
Belle is retired now. Good old girl, loving and sweet and gave so much of herself to her daughter. But I can't train anymore. Do not have the capability.
Memory issues are getting worse. Can't tell you how much fun that is.
I'm still completely content with certain people no longer being a part of my life and I wish they'd never been to be honest. No telling how things might have been different.
Job has gotten better, still would rather be doing an office job as it's a lot easier on me. Regardless of what some or one person thinks, this whole issue is getting worse, will not be getting better and it can only be managed at this point. So should you happen to read this and find yourself wanting to reach out........DON'T!!! I mean that with every fiber of my being.
My son did have another daughter September 11, 2018. He, my new daughter in law and all the kids are great. I got to spend time with Jamie for the first time in January while I was out there to take care of Amanda.
Also got to tell her now ex boyfriend that he did not make decisions for her, I did that and so does her dad. PERIOD! He didn't like me. Please ask me if I cared. He tried to put his foot down with Anje and I told him no one and I mean NO ONE but me will govern what she does and that he is NOTHING and will no longer be allowed up to ICU if his shit didn't stop. Again....he doesn't like me. Told Amanda I came in and took over! Well someone had to because he was just a drunk. So glad he is GONE!!
Cutting back hurts but it's a relief at the same time.
Done rambling for now. Have to get up early and get Angus ready for transport. A good friend is hauling him for me and the new owner. I adore the new owner. He is very sweet. He will be very pleased when Angus steps off the trailer.
More updates later..........
