The Horses

Believe it or not this is our 36 year old Arabian mare.  She's retired but still just an amazing mare. I've had her over 25 years so she is pretty special. I now have 3 redheads.  Boy is Josie in great shape. Love the feed she's on now.

Below is one of my last 2 acquisitions.  Her name is Diva. She is one too. She's different from any mare I've had. From the first time I saw her picture I was drawn to her. No clue why but I am the one she picked. Doesn't have much use for anyone but me. She is coming 3 yrs old.

Diva and her buddy Phoenix.  Phoenix is my Hotshot Ashwood colt. I can honestly say I have everything I want and I've had no interest really in any other horses that have been for sale. Phoenix is a blank slate and is honestly doing better than I expected.  I love his mom Lily, whom I do not own but she is Percheron paint And very good looking mare. Diva is Phoenix's bff.
Love Diva's flaxen mane.

Phoenix and Diva, thought it was a cool pic of them. Diva is basically a one person horse and she hss attached herself to me. It was a surprise to me.

Here is Phoenix kicking up his heals after being in the barn.

Think I might have my hands full with him but honestly between his mom and dad he should be a wonderful horse.

My Smartie mare, yes in foal for a late summer foal,  sweet and the Dam of my 2 dunskin boys. I did not breed her as I have no stallions on the place anymore.

Newt who is one of my dunskins. He was gelded last year as a yearling.

More of my Hotshot foal. I'm just over the moon with him,  I  hope he is everything and more that his sister Rain is who is owned by a friend.

Phoenix

A beautiful silhouette of my Royal. Her mom is a mare I've had for many years, still have her. Royal was her last foal and blue roan to top it off.

Peaches, my squirrelly shit.

Lacie, Faith and of course my Trick.

Ice, who was born here. Product of a stallion escape...AJ to be exact but I don't have him anymore

The devils children but I love them . Please note: the 2 sorrel mares are 20 and 30 yrs old this year. They are thriving. The oldest has some respiratory problems but we manage them. This info was not disclosed to me but that's ok. I'm sure it was known because it is very obvious. It's ok, she will spend however long she hss left here with us in retirement.

My beautiful Kai. So glad he came home. He is a nice ride.

Rebel, kai, Pistol I believe and Cat my tb mare.

Ice and Newt, who are best of friends.  Ice was born here and to the nosy, yes I still have her. The organization knows who they are.

Pera and Spartan and Rio in the roundpen.  Rio is a boarder and coming 2 yrs old. He's a good looking gelding. Spartan is the offspring from the black and white mare and Newts full brother. He is a yearling.

Spartan, my yearling that will be needing more work which is fine. He's a bit of a stinker but we will get through it.  He is the opposite of his brother Newt. Newt could care less about anything.

And for those that just want to be nosey and think you're being sneaky, here is Willow.

Diva and Phoenix

The small pasture horses

My Pistol

Faith, our best mare I swear.

My beautiful and best buddy River. He truly is a different horse from what he was before I got him.
I can honestly say with extreme certainty that I am done buying horses or taking anymore in. I couldn't ask for a better bunch, creme of the crop.  Each is so different but all are so sweet. They each have their own unique story too. Maybe one day I'll write about each one of them. Most I've had for many many years, a few were born here.
I've honestly never been truly done with getting any more which I've never meant that more than I do now.
