Baby Boy

Little ones Momma Diva left to go to her new home on Friday September 4, 2020. He turned 4 months old today September 6, 2020 and got to be turned out with his big brother Tonka and Trick. He took up immediate with his brother. He's done exceptionally well with weaning. He does spend his nights and early mornings in his stall to get all his breakfast and dinner.
He will be gelded next summer.
Trying out a few names on him but haven't decided on one yet. Considering Sunny since he is a gleaming Champagne overo or Dusty. Yes it's simple but oh well. He is a loveable wonderful colt and I'm lucky enough to have have he and his brother out of Hotshot Ashwood. Hotshot did an excellent job with color. Always wanted a foal out of him now I have 2. Previous owner will not release papers on him because I refuse to sell him to her. That's fine. He's mine and always will be. So take the papers and shove them. I have the best colt ever born here.
His mom needed a lot of training and went to a really good home to start her training. She came to me as a pregnant coming 3 year old, which in my book, is just way to young.
He is all legs and going to be exceptional as he has been very imprinted from birth and was one of ghose that were born loving human contact.
He got to be turned out with his brother Tonka and his mentor Trick for the first time today. He immediately took up with his brother. I have such high hopes for my babies that we currently have, which are him as a eeaninling, 2 yearling dunskin full brothers and a couple 2 year olds.
My herd is complete after all these years. I'm very blessed and grateful for each and every one of them.

Happy 4 month birthday baby boy.

He is a very special boy and a jr version of his sire. He's everything the breeder was breeding for but when you don't even bother to tell me the mare is bred and due about a month and a half after I purchase her then shame on you. M a de it clear they didn't like the dam at all.

He is the whole package for sure. I'm usually not a Champagne fan but boy do I love him. He has his sires personality and is, in fact, a jr version of his sire. He has his sires sound mind and wants to please.
He will never be for sale. I was told to nsme my price....there isn't one.
Now to settle on his name.
He sure had fun today.
