Lightning

Well my sweet girl hasn't popped yet. I really do like this mare so much. I can't wait to get her broke to ride. She has taken to me and we have developed a strong bond. I can go out and say come here and she will follow me all over the place. She comes over and gets close to me and loves me to groom her. She grows more special to me every day. I hope we don't have any issues foaling. I watch her closely.  She is my girl.

Clint Accident

Yesterday was a horrible day for our family. Especially my daughter. She came very close to losing her husband. 
I've known Clint since he was a small child. So he didn't just come into our lives when he met my daughter. So this is hard for me as well.
He was out on their ranger ATV and lost control and it threw him and flipped and landed on him.
He is still in ICU. He was life flighted to the hospital,  a level 1 trauma center.  He went into surgery at 4:30 pm and came out at 11:00 pm. They had to repair tendon and artery damage and temporarily fix his leg. He has 3 bones sticking out. His arm is going to be ok. This is going to be a long recovery.
Monday he goes back into surgery to repair the inside of his leg and the have to do a skin graft on his leg. They will also remove blood clots from his arm.
He can move his fingers and toes which is an excellent sign. When he is released from the hospital he will go for inpatient physical therapy.  Clint will be fine, it's just going to take a while.

General updates

Well it's been over a year now since I got Cat. She has changed so much. No longer runs away from you, is in excellent health and has become a regular horse.  I'm so proud of her and I love her so much.

Bo is 2 years old now. He has bloomed into a very handsome stud and still so sweet. 

AJ is doing really well. We will start breeding in May.

And here is my boy. Look at that face. He is gorgeous.  I love this boy Soooo much. I never get tired of looking at him. He is such a sweetheart.

Abby is doing great. She is over what she had, eating very well, on special stuff to help her get back to normal.  She is gaining daily.

Trick the Dick

Trick is fixing to fine his ass pulled up out of the pasture. He decided to make a real bad decision last night by running diamond out of the/over/through the fence. She is not hurt but was visibly shaking so she is in the small pasture with Cat, Josie,  Abby and bolt. I think this weekend they will get turned put and Trick will get brought up for a while for a come to Jesus meeting. I have no idea what prompted him to act like thet to her but I'm about tired of his bullshit attitude. 

T-Bone

T-Bone is doing fine. It's weird hearing a moo when all I've had is horses around. He is a cutie but not friendly so eating him will be easier. Seems to be doing well since being off momma. It's almost been a week now. The horses were extremely curious but are now ignoring him.
