Weaning Day for Whisper

Well Newt was not handling being alone very well and Whisper is 4 months old and needing to be weaned soooo........

I decided today was it and Newt is very happy having her as company and she's handling being away from mom better than I thought. Mom is done being mom apparently because she isnt hanging out with Whisper at all. 

I am sooo glad Newt is better. He was stressing and I do not like babies to stress at all. This is easier for both of them. I think I'll turn Bella out to the big pasture this weekend.  Might turn pistol out there too and if that goes well then give the 2 foals pistols pen. 

I really do love that Newt boy and of course my Whisper.

He has zebra stripes on his legs. He is a dunskin. 

He is beautifully marked and just gorgeous.

Here is my Whisper. She was born May 11th, 2018. Looks like she's going to stay bay. She is getting darker.

Meet Newt. He is my new Dunskin colt. He will be gelded at an early age. If not this fall then in the spring. He is still a baby. He loves to lick you. Lol. He I'd a sweet sweet boy.

Sept 6 2018 Thursday Ride

It was cloudy which made is a nice temperature to ride in. We all had a great time. Faith was the perfect horse for Amanda, Pera was great for Matt and of course I rode my faithful Trick. The 4 dogs went with us and had a ball. Brutus decided it was to long if a ride for him so he went home. 

Best visit ever.
