My beautiful boy Drifter. I can't wait until he comes home. Hopefully it will be before he is 6 months old. He will be my 2nd Dunskin. Sure helps take the sting out of losing Beckham. Drifter has an incredible pedigree.

Misfits To Others

Well I've done it again. Took in what someone else thought wasn't good enough to keep. Her name is Luna. She is 6 months old, has all her shots and has been spayed already. She's supposed to be a shih tzu but she is actually a shih poo. Fine with me. She's small and very soft and cuddly. She's silver in color with some stripes. She's a doll. Day one was yesterday and she was reserved and quiet. Today she is lively and playful. Most of my pack is what others thought were misfits. So guess I'm destined to love what others won't. She'll fit in here just fine. She's loved and while she has a lot of brothers and sisters now she will be happy. She sure loves to play with Little Foot and she even likes the big dogs.

Zahra

The last day of 2022 and I rode Zahra for the first time since I got her. She's a dream ride. She looks so pretty under saddle. She bonded with me as well. It was a beautiful day, didn't need more than a hoodie and tomorrow is to be the same way. Riding is on the agenda for tomorrow as well. 

I also rode Royal after she stopped acting like a rodeo bronc. The weather has them all nuts. Everyone was running, bucking and carrying on while I was riding. 

I'm really very happy with Zahra.

She is a really good girl. I love riding my mares. People always say mares are horrible to ride. Honestly they are what I prefer. This stupid app is messing up so I'm done for now. 

Bye 2022, you sucked. Here's to a better year in 2023. 

Reba

Brutus gained his Wings

Brutus went for his walk across the rainbow Bridge yesterday while I was at work. He's among the angels now and reunited with Ally and Navi. Fly high sweet boy. RIP. We will always miss you and love you. 

My Chi's

I love chihuahua's. I have 5 of them. Two of them are 11 and 12 years old and I've had the 10 years old since birth and her dad is the 12 yr old. I had the mom but she was killed by another dog. A rat terrier to be exact. I don't recommend them. They think chihuahua's are vermin and go after them. I miss my Teaka. 

Below are 4 out of the 5 . My black and white long hair is usually sleeping on the bed. 

Below is my 2 newest. Reba is the blonde and white one and she's 3 yrs old and was not treated very nice by previous owners. Yes, owners, plural.  She's been bounced around a lot and lord only knows what else. She's bonded to me and did that immediately, has separation anxiety and goes to work with me daily. One of the perks of working for a veterinarian.  We are working through her issues. 

Laying with her is a 9 week old chi puppy and his name is Little Foot,  actually my husband has claimed him and named him Dancing Little Foot.  He is a hoot and cracks us up. Reba and Little Foot are both Deer head chihuahua's.  I rescued Reba and actually pur hated Little Foot.  He was covered in fleas and scabs and had a few bald spots. Fleas are gone and scabs are almost gone. So you could say I paid $300 for a rescue puppy. It's so aggravating.

I was sick in bed for 3 days and he was one of my smugglers. 

This is my Gizmo. He is an Apple head chihuahua. I've had him almost a year. He is 2 and a half months old and he is definitely my spoiled baby. He's been going to work with me since I got him at 6 weeks old. One of our clients had his mom and dad and she only had one pup and I got him.
