Some Special Cases

Decided to do some updates on a few horses.

This is what Cat use to look like in the top pic after being off the track for 2 months. Not fast enough for them so she was thrown away to become the top pic. I have had her a year now and you can see how she is now.
In that year she finally learned to be a regular horse. She interacts with the others well now, has learned to trust us, no longer bolts through gates and we have started riding. That seems to have made her even closer to me. Last winter she had virtually no winter coat and this year she has developed a beautiful thick winter coat. She is healthy and happy.
Kai is our gelding. As you can see he wasn't in great shape when we got him. We have had him almost 2 years now and I am happy to say that he did continue to grow once we got him back to good health. His coat is healthy he is healthy and has rounded out as well as grown. He is very sweet and his playmate and best friend is Trick, believe it or not.  They mock fight and they hang out together. Trick took to Kai right away which was kind of odd but I'm glad.
Below is Rain. She use to be referred to as the mangy orangutan. While she isn't mine I felt she deserved a spot on the blog. She gets lighter and lighter every year. Always really liked this mare. She has grown into such a beautiful mare and is a great momma.
I use to own Sis and yes she deserves a place on the page too. She was at one time in absolutely horrible condition, skin and bones. There was a woman that had her and her foal and omg it was bad. That was Soooo many years ago.
Below is Willow. Her friend Abby is next to her eating. Willow was abandoned a couple years ago and was taken in by a 501C3 rescue. We recently adopted her to be a part of our family. They believe she is a Morgan. She has fit in well here and we couldn't be happier to have her join our family. Willow is broke to ride too.
Over the years I have saved others, still have some others that came in not so good.
I will continue to help those I can.
No I am not a 501C3 but that doesn't mean I can't help on occasion.

Most of our horses do ride and we don't ride as much as we'd like but we do ride.
We mostly enjoy them daily and love spending time with them.
