I just love Miss Cat

Cat is coming along so nicely. I'm so proud of her. Again this even she went through gates perfectly. Such a good girl. Learning so fast. 

Here is some of Cats story. 

As I have posted before, cat is off the track. A good friend of mine got her and here is what she looked like:

She was covered in rain rot, lost most of her hair, had sores on her from being so boney and laying down. Here are some progress pics that she took from the time she got her till I got her: 

Started looking so much better. She did a great job with Cat. 

I saw Cat right after she got her and fell in love. I told her if she ever got rid of her I got first dibs. 

She continues to improve. Can't wait till spring. She is a very special girl. How sad it is that they did this to such a nice girl. At the age of 4 years old she will be fine. She is sound and is adjusting to non track life. It's different for her. But she learns easily. 

Tonight she is tucked comfortably in her stall with lots of alfalfa and feed and water and protein bucket. She has the boys to keep her company. They love to stay in the big barn with her. I look forward to seeing Cat and Pistol have a beautiful foal in a couple years. Eventually I will keep one from those two.
