Disgusted

I am completely disgusted by comments made last night which included stupid statements such as "the bible said plants and animals were put on this earth to be eaten". In this instance the moron was talking about horses, and other comments such as "just put him down". Really people unless you know the circumstances you need to learn to keep your stupid trap shut. One person even made the statement that she was well educated with a killer career. Ok so what does that prove? You still aren't stepping up to the plate to help in any way. Yet another snot bragged about her $20,000 show horse. Well good for you! Again no offer to help, just a general statement about the bible and of course the fall back statement of ship it to Mexico.
The level of ignorance is astounding. The level of stupidity is even more astounding.  Statements like if they are of no use to you then ship them to slaughter. Makes me sick and further makes me understand why I do not like most people. This world is going to hell.
Then to further my disgust I saw an ad, someone selling a mare with a less than 2 month old foal and they said I'd someone just wanted one then the foal could be weaned! Are you kidding me you idiot? Backyard breeding at its finest. Now this was a 17 year old, very uneducated individual and when multiple people tried to set him straight he and one of his ignorant friends got mouthy.  How proud their parents must be.......NOT.
I'd be ashamed. I feel for the poor innocent animals that have no voice.
People use to stand by one another.  Especially equine people. That is a thing of the past. If you ask a question or seek help to do what is best for your horse then you are ridiculed beyond measure. It's very sad the direction that this world is headed.
