Drying up yay

It's dried up a lot today. Just in time for it to rain more. I'd bet on it.

Got all tests completed yesterday. Blood drawn, chest xray, vitals, and ekg. Then had to talk to anesthesiologist about surgery, sedation and nerve block. Yuck. Then had to talk to pharmacy. I'm on no meds so that was quick. Radiology was in and out and I was back on the highway headed north before 4 pm. Yay. All in all it wasn't to bad. I got home before 5 but not by much. Got chores done and horses were waiting on me. I'm glad someone will be here while I'm at the hospital. Jen and her fiancé will be here.

I let Cat and Josie out to run and play today. Cat got to go run in the big pasture with everyone. I let her go for a while then had her come in to the side pasture and closed the gate. She just got over her injury so I didn't want her pushing it. She is coming around as time goes on. She has changed a lot and is learning how to just be a horse. She doesn't freak out about everything now. I just spend time with her, touching and rubbing on her every time I feed. She no longer moves away from my touch all the time. Still does sometimes but most of the time she will stand.
Pistol had a fit. He wanted out with Cat. Nope. The boys have figured out what is what and we aren't breeding yet. He loves Cat. Once she was in the side pasture he was fine.
Went and got hay today. Need to order feed for Wes to pick up Saturday. New blend I have mixed now. It's awesome feed and very healthy. The horses love it. Buying in bulk is a lot less expensive without sacrificing quality. Bo and Pistol still eat together, still live together. They are very close and I think they will be able to remain together. That's a lot better that a stud that fights with everything. Been there done that, not doing it again. Raising our studs is so much better than buying one grown.
Affair, my black and white mare, should be foaling soon. She will get rebred to MC then will come home. She isn't here right now because she is foaling at Jen's.
Jodi is bringing Abby down here next week.
It's nice to have access to and own such nice horses. Makes a big difference.
Well tired now. Got a lot done today. I think tomorrow I will finish laundry and watch some tv. Relax. Weather permitting Cat will go out to pasture for the day to graze. She gets put up in her turnout at night.
Night everyone.
